Kathy Murphy

I have been working for Dr. Stephenson in her beautiful Walnut Creek practice since she opened. In college, I received my B.A. in Early Childhood Development after which I pursued my education in Dentistry. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program in Alameda and received my RDA in the early 80’s. My love of children and dentistry combined to make a great career choice. I worked happily for a dentist in Oakland for many years up until his retirement.

I feel so lucky to have met Dr. Stephenson and join a team that shares the same values I do. Dr. Stephenson values quality care, patient comfort and health and each day is fun working together, striving to give our patients an exceptional experience. It has been a pleasure to work with Dr. S, Charles, and her hygienist Vanessa. They are all truly caring individuals.

Away from the office my greatest joy is my family. My husband Michael and I, have two amazing children, Chris and Molly who are both thriving in college. This allows us more time to golf, spend time with friends, and plan weekend get-a-ways.
