I take a genuine interest in each patient and approach the relationship as if they will be part of our practice family for decades. To that end, I seek to provide more of the “little things,” such as complete details on what to expect before, during, and after procedures. I often call patients the night after a procedure to answer questions and relieve anxiety. I’ll even follow up weeks later if I believe that devoting more time and attention might lead to a better outcome for the patient.  

Always Comfortable

We recognize that many people have a fear of going to the dentist. We want to honor these concerns and make your experience better. We listen carefully to your needs, and then provide you with many options for having a pleasant treatment experience. We always provide a relaxing atmosphere and use light-handed, gentle techniques. Before we begin our work, we perform several tests to ensure that your teeth are numb and pain-free. If you’re feeling anxious, we can provide nitrous oxide and warm blankets. We also offer extra neck and back support, noise-canceling headsets, ipods, movies, relaxation tapes, and pre- and post-treatment medication. Throughout the treatment, we’ll take breaks whenever the patient needs them. After your treatment, we offer soothing lip ointments, lotions, mouth rinses, warm moist towels with aromatherapy, and a private sink and mirror for you to freshen up before continuing your day.

Be Listened To

More than anything else, most patients want to feel as if they have been heard and that the doctor has taken time enough to answer all of their questions. This can make or break the overall experience and the opinion they form about the office. That’s why it’s so important to me to be truly present and to care enough to really listen to patients.
